How to donate

Liberia: Boys play football at a UNICEF-assisted centre for internally displaced children, in the capital Monrovia. The children are playing in a tournament featuring matches between children from several camps for internally displaced persons. - UNICEF/HQ04-0059/Christine Nesbitt

The money donated through Soccer Aid will allow UNICEF and its partners to reach many more of the estimated 9 million children under the age of five who die every year from largely preventable causes. Simple measures such as clean water or vaccinations really can save children’s lives.

Make a donation today and help support the real goal of Soccer Aid. Soccer Aid is raising funds for UNICEF’s health, education and protection work with vulnerable children all over the world.

UNICEF helps children to survive and thrive in more than 190 countries worldwide. We work with partners to provide emergency support and long-term development solutions. UNICEF is funded entirely by voluntary contributions.

100 per cent of the money you donate goes directly to UNICEF for their work with carefully selected partners to support vulnerable children worldwide.

Gift Aid it

Under the HM Revenue & Customs’s Gift Aid scheme, UNICEF is entitled to reclaim the tax made on gifts by UK taxpayers. This means that, if you are a UK taxpayer, your gift can increase by nearly a third – e.g. £2.80 is added if you donate £10. Through Gift Aid you can help children even more at no cost to you - just by ticking the Gift Aid box when you donate.
